Certified/Registered Medical AssistantUrology Specialists of the Carolinas is one of the largest independent urology groups in the country, proudly serving patients across the Carolinas. Following the merger of three leading regional urology practices, we have become a dynamic, physician-led organization with more than 70 providers dedicated to delivering exceptional, comprehensive urologic care while preserving the values of independent, physician-driven medicine.With a strong foundation and decades of trusted care, our team continues to grow to meet the needs of our patients and communities.We are seeking a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant to join our expanding clinical team of dedicated professionals. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate, detail-oriented individual with a commitment to patient care, teamwork, and clinical excellence.ResponsibilitiesPerforms clinical duties in a medical setting, such as scheduling appointments, taking patient histories, and recording vital signs.Assist healthcare providers during medical exams, including preparing exam rooms, sterilizing medical instruments, and explaining procedures to patients.Administers medications and immunizations as directed by healthcare providers.Conducts basic laboratory tests and performs phlebotomy procedures, including collecting and preparing specimens for testing.Performs basic medical procedures, such as dressing changes, wound care, and suture removals.Manages and maintains medical records, including patient charts, test results, and other important medical information.Assists with patient education and provides information on medical conditions, treatment plans, and preventative care measures.Answers, triages and responds timely to calls and messages.QualificationsCertified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) preferredPrior experience in a medical office or specialty practice, preferably urologyStrong interpersonal and communication skillsProficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systemsWhy Join Us?Be part of one of the largest and most respected independent urology organizations in the SoutheastCollaborative, physician-led culture focused on quality and innovationCompetitive compensation and comprehensive benefitsOpportunities for professional growth and advancementIf you're passionate about patient care and looking to grow your career within a supportive and respected organization, we'd love to hear from you.
