Medical AssistantAre you a licensed Medical Assistant looking for a fresh start? If so, we can help you! HANSTAFF is a nationwide healthcare staffing company that has partnered with Correctional Facilities across your state to help them find amazing nurses. We're looking for you to become a valued member of the healthcare team at our client's medical facility!Pay Rate: $24 / hourDetailsFull time schedulesSome weekends may be required8 or 12 hour shifts available depending on the facilityContract position (flexible with shift availability is a plus)M-F 7am-33opmDutiesMD scheduling, provider vital signs, MD assistance with minor procedures, telemedicine, and clerical functions such as answering phones, telemedicine prep.Main duties room patients, review schedules, stock supplies, assist with occasional procedure, sterilization of tools, and keeping emergency equipment inventory updated.Should be autonomous, organized, ability to work in a face paced environment without a lot of guidance.Willing to take on extra tasks as needed & if main job duties are complete, dependable, good attendance record.Provide patient care under direction of nursing staffRecord patient information such as vital signs, weight and changes in medical historyUpdate and maintain all client recordsAssist nurse in maintaining medical inventoryAdminister prescribed medications to patientsSterilize and prepare medical tools and equipmentMaintain a clean and healthy environmentQualificationsGraduation from an accredited educational institutionLicensed as a Medical Assistant by the State in CA.
