Job description

At Providence you will find patient centered care for every member of your family.We are currently in search of a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant who likes to connect with people and has a compassionate outlook for our location in Huber Heights.PMG The Heights, like all Providence Medical Group practices, focuses on building lasting patient relationships based on trust and continuity of care.What you will do:Room patients. Measure and record vital signs such as height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration. Complete patient interview and history.Prepare patients for examinations, tests and treatments and explain procedures. Assist with procedures as ordered by provider.May assist in examinations, carry out treatments and special tests.Set up equipment and prepare medical treatment rooms for patients.Collect samples such as blood, urine and sputum from patients, and perform routine laboratory tests on samples.Administrative/clerical duties as requiredSkills:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; dependable attendance.Strong attention to detail and organizational abilitiesAbility to multitask and prioritize tasks effectivelyProficiency in medical terminology, computer skills and HIPAA complianceKnowledge of medical procedures, equipment, and instrumentsAbility to draw bloodAbility to travelEducation:High School diploma or equivalent.
