Job description
Medical AssistantSeeking an experienced Medical Assistant to provide clinical and administrative support. Work collaboratively with providers and clinical staff. May be required to float to other areas based on department needs. Must be flexible and comfortable working in different clinical settings within scope of experience.Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM Day shift. No weekend schedule indicated. May be required to float as needed.Provide clinical support to providers and patients. Assist with routine patient care and clinical workflows. Support providers during patient visits and procedures as assigned. Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation. Follow department policies and clinical procedures. Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and other healthcare team members. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment. Perform duties within established scope of practice. Float to other departments/areas when needed.2+ years of Medical Assistant experience – Required. Must be willing to float – Required. Previous healthcare/clinical experience required. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team. Ability to adapt to different clinical environments and workflows. EMR: Cerner.
