MCHC is seeking an experienced, caring, and adaptable Medical Assistant to serve as a Float MA across multiple MCHC clinic locations, including our upcoming Same-Day Clinic. What You'll Do:
* Conduct rooming of patients, including vitals, assessments, screenings, and medical histories
* Assist providers with exams, procedures, and treatments within the MA scope of practice
* Administer medications and vaccines per provider orders
* Document accurately and efficiently in the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
* Maintain clinical areas, ensure proper stocking, and adhere to infection control standards
* Provide patient education on diagnoses, follow-up care, and treatment plans as directed

* Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program
* Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Qualifications:
* Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
* At least one year of experience in a clinical setting
* Bilingual (English/Spanish) fluency
Compensation details: 23-29.7 Hourly Wage
