MCHC is seeking an experienced, caring, and adaptable Medical Assistant to serve as a Float MA across multiple MCHC clinic locations, including our upcoming Same-Day Clinic. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in diverse environments, enjoys supporting various teams, and is dedicated to delivering compassionate, high-quality patient care. What You'll Do:
* Conduct rooming of patients, including vitals, assessments, screenings, and medical histories
* Assist providers with exams, procedures, and treatments within the MA scope of practice
* Administer medications and vaccines per provider orders
* Document accurately and efficiently in the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
* Maintain clinical areas, ensure proper stocking, and adhere to infection control standards
* Provide patient education on diagnoses, follow-up care, and treatment plans as directed
