Orthopaedic Center Medical Assistant FloaterThe Orthopaedic Center is looking for a highly motivated Medical Assistant Floater for the Guntersville, AL location. This opening is a full-time position averaging 40 hours per week. The MA will perform clinical and secretarial duties including assisting physicians with patient care and handling clerical and organizational tasks under the direction of the Clinical Coordinator. MA will float to different locations as needed. Must be able to communicate effectively with patients, TOC physicians and staff.QualificationsEducation required: HS/GEDLicense, Certification and/or Registration: ROT or CCMA certification required by first 90 days of employmentExperience: Minimum one-year full-time clinical experience in healthcare preferredAdditional Skills/Abilities:Ability to communicate effectively with patients, TOC physicians and staffAbility to work under pressure, multitask and meet deadlinesOutstanding organizational, verbal and writing skillsIndependent, self-starting and highly motivatedStrong patient care and interpersonal skillsProven positive, "teamwork" attitude in work historyAbout UsAt The Orthopaedic Center, we are proud to be the region's leading orthopaedic group, dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care.
