Join Our Caring CommunityJoin our dedicated outpatient team at the Eastside clinic, where patient-centered care is our top priority. In this role you will directly report to the Center Administrator and play an important part in delivering high-quality clinical support to our patients.Eastside clinic address: 601 Versailles Rd, Frankfort, KY 40601Main ResponsibilitiesAs a Medical Assistant, you will perform a variety of clinical responsibilities, including:Obtain patient histories, discuss symptoms, and record vital signsAdminister medications and vaccines following protocolsPerform phlebotomy and collect laboratory specimensPrepare and maintain clean, sterile examination and equipmentDocument patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR) systemRequiredSuccessful completion of MA school/training program and a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant or Certified/Registered Medical Assistant with 3+ years of experience and approval from ProviderHigh school diploma or equivalentCPR CertifiedThis role is considered patient facing and is part of the company's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.PreferredPhlebotomy experience• Medication/vaccine administration experienceAt least 1 year of MA experienceValue Based Care experience including knowledge of HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and CAHPS/HOS Patient Experience.Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish - must pass proficiency exam prior to foreign language communicationScheduleOnsite, Full-time, 40 hours per weekScheduled Weekly Hours: 40Pay Range: $43,000 - $56,200 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
