Job DescriptionUnder the supervision of the physician or advanced practice clinician (NP or PA), performs Medical Assistant specific tasks, and assesses and educates patients.EducationHigh School Diploma or GED requiredExperienceOne year of experience in a clinical setting or completion of a Medical Assistant certification program requiredTraining in specialty-specific assisting desiredCertification & LicensureBLS Certification (Basic Life Support) - American Heart 'Healthcare Provider' (HCP) - AHA approved required.
