Job description
UF Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support our Pediatrics team in Gainesville, FL. In this role, you will room pediatric patients, obtain histories and vitals, prepare exam rooms, and assist providers with exams, vaccinations, and minor procedures. You will document in the EMR, perform basic labs and specimen collection, and coordinate scheduling and referrals. Working in a collaborative, patient-centered environment, you’ll educate families, ensure safety and comfort for children, and participate in ongoing training and quality improvement initiatives.
