Are you a recent graduate with aspirations of medical, PA, or NP school? Do you have a passion for helping others and want to gain hands-on clinical experience before you apply? Our Gap Year Program is designed for driven individuals like you who want to immerse themselves in patient care and take the next step toward their medical career.
As a Medical Assistant, youll be at the heart of patient care, working alongside our Board Certified Dermatologists to provide essential support. Were seeking someone who combines clinical knowledge with compassion, a strong work ethic, and a desire to make a real impact.

What Youll Do
* Provide the best patient experience - from warmly welcoming patients and prepping them for their visit to thoughtfully answering their care-related questions.
* Act as the right hand to the provider, supporting hands-on patient care by assisting during procedures, capturing detailed visit notes, fulfilling prescription orders, doing anything else needed to ensure the appointment is as smooth and complete as possible.
* Keep the clinic running smoothly by staying on top of managing supplies, maintaining equipment, understanding the flow of exam rooms, and finding fun, creative ways to work smarter and more efficiently.
* Be a reliable teammate by jumping in to help, keeping things organized, and contributing to a positive, supportive environment.

Qualifications/Experience
* High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
* Completion of Bachelors Degree (and awaiting acceptance to PA, NP, or medical school).
* Must be authorized to work in the United States without restriction. We will not sponsor applicants for work visas.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
Medical office, procedure/exam room and laboratory environment may include exposure to communicable diseases, bloodborne pathogens, biohazards or toxic substances. Daily activities may include standing, walking, sitting, bending and lifting items up to 30 lbs.
