Endoscopy - GI Technician Greenville, NCPay From: $19 per hourMUST: Experienced Endoscopy Technician2+ year of experience in an endoscopy settingProviding patient careExperience assisting with endoscopy proceduresExperience turning over and preparing endo suitesMaintaining and ordering inventory and supplies for endo proceduresReprocessing and cleaning equipment and instrumentsEMR DocumentationKnowledge of aseptic techniqueHS diplomaDUTIES:Assist providers with diagnostic and or therapeutic endoscopy proceduresAnticipate the needs of the provider during proceduresProvide patient careEnsure all instrumentation and supplies are ready prior to proceduresStock and clean roomsAssist with monitoring patients and alert clinical staff of any change in statusAssist with specimen retrievalLabel all medications and specimensClean and reprocess scopes and equipmentAssist with room turn-over and clean up including changing linens, and trash removalDemonstrate principles of aseptic techniquesQuadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
