Job description
Medical Assistant - Heart Rhythm (AHRO)Assists in planning, providing, and evaluating nursing care for patients and in coordinating nursing care activities with other health care disciplines under the guidance of a registered nurse (RN) or licensed vocational nurse (LVN). Works as a team with other staff members to achieve patient care objectives. Identifies and seeks solutions for any clinical problems and reports them to the affected department.Auto Offer EPIC backfill, Day Shift, 40 hours, 8hr shift, Must have EPIC experienceThis is a position for an EPIC conversion. Candidates must have recent EPIC and Cerner experience. No RTO. Start date is firm.Education and Work Experience:High School Education/GED or equivalent: RequiredBachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: PreferredLicenses/Certifications:Medical Assistant (CMA) certification: PreferredBasic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) Health Care Provider certification from approved vendor per AH policy: RequiredSuccessful completion of audiometry and vision training or have a certificate from CHDP within six months of hire.
