Job description
Medical AssistantAt Duly Health and Care, you are supported to do your best work and make a meaningful impact every day. You will be part of a collaborative, physician-led team that works as one and puts patients at the center of everything we do. Hours may vary 8-430 or 8-5 Monday through Friday.Responsibilities:Greet patients and assist with registration, scheduling, measuring vital signs and collecting health historyProvide support to physicians during examinations, minor office surgeries, dressing changes and other first aid proceduresCertified medical assistants may assist with immunizations or injectionsAssist patients with prescription requests, address pharmacy callbacks, provider orders, update charting and filingConduct onsite lab testing to include: EKG, pulmonary function, blood glucose and urine pregnancy testsMaintains clean, warm and inviting examination rooms for patient visitsProvide excellent customer service exemplifying Duly Health and Care CARE valuesSome travel to assist other local clinics may be requiredQualifications:High school diploma or GED requiredCompletion of Medical Assistant educational program or higher education courses in health sciences or related experience requiredSeveral of our clinical specialties including Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Family Practice, require active medical assistant certification through one of the following:American Medical Technologists (AMT)National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)National Healthcareer Association (NHA)American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA)American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)CPR certification or willing to become certified upon hire requiredMay require phlebotomy certification to be completed within 90 days of hirePrior experience working as an MA, CMA, CNA, EMT or 2 years of prior experience working in a medical office assisting with patient careThe compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $ for a Medical Assistant; Certified or Registered Medical Assistant the base pay range is $ , with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives.
