Unlock your potential here!Here is some of what you can expect from being a Medical Assistant with us:You will be responsible for assessing the needs of patients and must be able to distinguish between emergency and non-emergency situations and prioritize accordingly.You will document all activities in the medical record neatly and appropriately.You will maintain medical equipment and supplies for the clinic, and a professional and workable relationship with providers.You will screen and contact potential new patients for collecting and documenting information in the office database.You will manage the front desk serving as a receptionist welcoming patients and family members in a professional manner, registering patients, verifying insurance, answering phones, scheduling diagnostic studies and other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or Nurse Practitioner.Qualifications you will need for this role:MA CertifiedMA work experienceBLS is required.Previous medical office services/clinic experience required.Knowledge of schedulingAdministration task desirableHCA HealthONE Presbyterian St. Lukes, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
