Tillotson Ave., Muncie, INSchedule: Monday–Friday with rotating start and end times to support patient access needs. Example schedules:Week 1: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMWeek 2: 7:15 AM – 4:00 PMWeek 3: 7:15 AM – 5:00 PMWeek 4: One late shift (Monday or Wednesday 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM), remaining days 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, plus rotating Saturday coverageWeekend Requirement: One rotating Saturday per month (8:00 AM – 12:00 PM)Benefits Designed for You401(k) with employer matchTuition reimbursementStudent loan forgiveness eligibilityEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Healthy Results Wellness Program with bi-weekly incentivesIn this high-volume pediatric clinic, Medical Assistants play a vital role in keeping patient care flowing efficiently throughout the day.Responsibilities include:Rooming patients and obtaining clinical informationAdministering immunizationsPerforming point-of-care testingSupporting refill requests and clinical poolsCompleting pre-visit planning activitiesAssisting with patient documentation and provider paperworkCollaborating with providers and teammates to deliver exceptional carePatient-facing responsibilities are the priority, and flexibility to support different providers as needed is important.We're looking for candidates who:Enjoy working with children and familiesAre dependable and reliableThrive in a fast-paced clinical environmentWork well with others and contribute positively to the teamStay organized and adaptable throughout a busy dayPrevious pediatric experience is preferredOutpatient clinic experience is beneficialStrong customer service and teamwork skillsUnder the supervision of the designated supervisor and assigned physician, performs duties associated with direct patient care and clinical direction to provide patient care given in accordance with the organization standards. Assures completeness of ordered procedures and treatments, assures smooth patient flow, performs general lab work, instructs patients concerning procedures, treatments and needs, and ensures medical orders and referrals are carried out accurately and in a timely manner. Performs registration and scheduling activities per organizational and departmental procedures. Maintains EMR files and performs general front office functions as needed. May perform computerized physician order entry, only if directed by assigned physician. Expected to precept current MA team members or MA Externs as requested by leadership.AHA Basic Life Support for healthcare workers certification required. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.High school diploma or equivalent required.
