Job description
Job TitleQualifications: NOT A REMOTE POSITION. Candidate must exhibit Accuracy with documentation, Attention to detail, Must be independent and be able to work on their own. Candidate must have worked with Patients in prior positions ex; Dr Office, Hospital, Pharma experience not necessary.A minimum of a high school diploma or GED, and must have completed a Medical Assistant program. Certified or Registered Medical Assistant preferred. Must have Red Cross or American Heart Association card as Healthcare Provider for CPR w/ AED. First Aid certification preferred. One-year or greater of patient care experience in primary healthcare field. Experience with EKG, glucometers, injections, PPD and phlebotomy preferred. Must possess basic working knowledge of a computer. Experience with electronic medical record systems preferred.ResponsibilitiesMedical Surveillance ActivitiesSchedule OHPsReview QuestionnairesVitalsElectronic Surveillance ClearancesPerformance of Audiograms, vision screening, ECGsEquipment Calibration - daily checksAnnual calibrations - contacting company and managing shipping processDocumentation including scanning records and entry into EMRVaccinationsIM and SC injections – flu vaccines and othersDocumentation including scanning records and entry into EMRAdministrativeSupply orders, tracking expiration datesRefill/Replace emergency medical supplies on emergency vehicles and depts throughout sitePrint medical records when requested by employees (often related to retirements/site closure)Documentation and Scanning of medical tests, HIPAA releases, etc to EMROccupational Incident care/managementProvide First Aid, coordinate care with other on-site and off site providers as needed, esp if I am out of officeCoordinate fup visit with outside Healthcare providersDocumentation including Broadspire reports, scanning records and entry into EMR
