Our commitment to providing exceptional care, despite any challenges, goes beyond just a job; it's a calling that drives us forward every day.Job OverviewThe IPA Medical Assistant (MA) will assist in the provision of direct patient care by performing routine patient care procedures alongside technical and clerical support services within the IPA clinical setting. They will perform this role by building relationships with IPA back office and front office teams, listening to them, and supporting their clinical needs. They will demonstrate compassion and respect and will be proactive in managing patient, staff, and provider expectations. In addition, the IPA MA will assist with informing best practice in front office administrative responsibilities alongside back office support and training to IPA providers and staff. They will also assist in achieving shared department goals and objectives as an MA team leader and trainer.Minimum RequirementsMedical Assistant certificate, along with a high school diploma or equivalent required.Minimum of 2 years of experience as a back office Medical Assistant required.Prior experience as a Lead MA strongly preferred.Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.Compensation $26.00 - $30.55 hourlyCompensation Disclaimer Actual salary offers are considered by various factors, including budget, experience, skills, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. The range is subject to change.
