Medical Assistant - ClinicPride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client's healthcare team in Irving, TX.Job Details:Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PMLocation: Irving, TX 75038Job Type: Travel ContractContract Length: 13 weeksPay Range: $21.00 to $23.00/hour on W2Duties:Organize the clinical environment and provide support to physicians, nursing staff, and other clinical team members.Assist with patient care, identify patient needs or concerns, and communicate relevant information to the provider or clinical team.Provide quality customer service while maintaining patient privacy, confidentiality, and infection control standards.Perform clinical and administrative duties within the Medical Assistant scope of practice and under provider supervision.Complete required training and follow established policies and procedures.Requirements:Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalentCertification(s): Current nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification, or ability to obtain certification within 180 days of employment; current BLS certification through an approved American Heart Association Training Center or Military Training NetworkYears of experience: 1+ year of Medical Assistant experience preferredSkills/Specialties/Technology: Basic computer literacy, intermediate Excel skills, medical terminology, ICD-10 and CPT coding knowledge preferred, strong communication and customer service skills, ability to respond calmly in emergency situationsPreferred: Bilingual skillsAdditional Information:Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 35 lbs. with assistance; stand for extended periods; use fine motor skills to operate equipment; and perform basic and complex problem-solving tasks.Dress Code: Grey or navy scrubsTravel: No additional travel between locations requiredPatient Setting: Clinic-basedInterview: In-person preferred at the clinicEqual Employment OpportunityPrideGlobal and its affiliates are an equal opportunity employer.
