Medical AssistantThe Medical Assistant role functions under the clinical supervision of the Physician/Advanced Practice Provider in a primary care practice. This individual assists in the preparation and delivery of patient care as directed by the provider(s) and other licensed clinical personnel. Clinical duties are skillfully and consistently performed per established clinical policy and procedure.Education & Experience:High school diploma requiredEither a graduate of an accredited MA school OR a current MA certification required.Preferred:1-year hands on experience in pediatrics or family practice clinic.Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification:National certification preferred.Current CPR certification required.About Cook Children's:Our not-for-profit organization is comprised of a flagship medical center in Fort Worth, Texas, a new medical center in Prosper, Texas, a physician network, home health company, surgery centers, health plan, health services, and health foundation.
