Medical AssistantWe're looking for a compassionate and driven Medical Assistant who is dedicated to patient-centered care and recovery. If you want to make an impact on the lives of many, join us in our mission to break patients free of addiction and rebuild hope.Schedule: 5am - 2pm, Monday to FridayPay: $18/hrRequirements: CNA or CMAWork-Life BalanceFlexible and predictable schedules.Early in/early out hours.No nights and no Sundays.Generous paid time off.Enjoy holidays off.Comprehensive BenefitsMedical, dental and vision coverage, plus life insurance and disability protection.Competitive discretionary 401(k) match.Recognition and RewardsCompetitive compensation.Quarterly bonus potential.Incentives for certifications or licenses.Employee PerksEmployee Assistance Program (EAP).Self-care and wellness services.Exclusive discounts on various services and entertainment options.Grow With UsRole-based training programs.Developmental opportunities.Clinical supervision hours.Certification support.Career advancement pathways with our leveling program.Tuition reimbursement.What You'll DoProvide CareSupport patients by obtaining vital signs, conducting health assessments, performing TB testing, and collecting blood specimens.Collect, process, and ship laboratory specimens accurately and safely to ensure timely, high-quality diagnostic testing.Help patients stay engaged in care by coordinating exam scheduling, annual physicals, and preparing monthly testing lists that promote continuity of care.Manage Inventory and DocumentationMaintain laboratory supplies, equipment, and inventory to ensure clinicians have their needed resources.Manage laboratory results and maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation while safeguarding patient confidentiality and protected health information.Foster a clean, organized, and sanitary environment that supports patient safety and quality care.Team BuildingCollaborate with clinical team members by providing support and guidance on laboratory testing and patient care.Required QualificationsActive Medical Assistant certification.Preferred QualificationsKnowledge of OSHA requirements and medical assistant/phlebotomist procedures.Strong communication, decision-making, and computer skills.Physical Requirements and Working ConditionsFast-paced clinical environment with periods of increased activity.Exposure to patients with substance use disorders, mental health conditions, infectious diseases, and criminal justice involvement.Prolonged standing, bending, and stooping.Alternating between sitting and standing throughout the workday.Potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens.Use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.Frequent keyboarding and computer use.Our TeamAt BHG, we thrive on the greatness of our people.
