Medical Assistant Lakeside Orthopedic InstituteLakeside Orthopedic Institute is seeking an experienced, dependable, and patient-focused Medical Assistant to join our orthopedic team in Lake Havasu City. As part of Lakeside Health, our team works alongside orthopedic surgeons and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality specialty care to patients throughout the community and surrounding region.Position ResponsibilitiesRoom patients and obtain vital signs and medical historiesPrepare patients for examinations, procedures, and injectionsAssist physicians and providers during clinicUpdate and maintain accurate patient information in the electronic medical recordReview and document medications and allergiesPrepare exam rooms and maintain appropriate clinical suppliesAssist with patient education and follow-up instructionsCoordinate imaging, therapy, referrals, and other provider orders as neededRespond to patient messages and assist with clinical follow-upMaintain a professional, organized, and efficient clinic environmentWork collaboratively with providers, front-office staff, and other Lakeside Health departmentsWhat We're Looking ForReliable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced clinical environmentFriendly and professional with excellent patient-service skillsComfortable working closely with physicians and other clinical staffDetail-oriented with strong communication skillsAble to manage multiple responsibilities throughout a busy clinic dayA positive team member who takes pride in providing excellent patient carePrevious Medical Assistant experience is preferred.
