From state-of-the-art imaging services to cancer care to a locally-owned air ambulance service, Sidney Health Center combines the modern medical amenities with a small-town agriculture-based community.The Position: General Surgery Clinic Medical Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Registered NurseEmployment Status: Full-timeHours per two-week pay-period: 72Compensation:Medical Assistant Uncertified Compensation: $17.75 Per hour starting wage, aligned with internal pay structure and experienceMedical Assistant Certified Compensation: $19.00 Per hour starting wage, aligned with internal pay structure and experienceLPN Compensation: $24.50 Per hour starting wage, aligned with internal pay structure and experienceRN Compensation: $30.74 Per hour starting wage, aligned with internal pay structure and experienceEssential Job Functions:Assessments, assisting providers with procedures, calling patients with test results, filing, ordering medical supplies, and additional duties as assigned by General Surgery Clinic providersRooming patients, taking vitals, intake documentation, assisting with procedures in clinicCoordination of patient careMinimum Qualifications:Completion of a Medical Assistant training program or relevant certification within 12 months of hire or have an Associate or Bachelor's Degree in NursingProficiency in basic medical terminology and procedures and knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systemsCertifications and Licenses:Must complete certification with an accredited Medical Assistant program within 12 months of hire or have a current unencumbered Montana/Compact LPN or RN licenseCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) certification requiredPosition Summary:Sidney Health Center is seeking a Medical Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Registered Nurse to join our I CARE team in the General Surgery Clinic setting. Essential duties of the position include rooming patients, completing assessments, calling patients with results, coordination of patient care, and assisting with procedures.
