Medical Assistant | RMA Preferred | Little Rock Specialty ClinicA busy specialty clinic in Little Rock is seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Medical Assistant to support patient care and help keep daily clinic operations running smoothly.The ideal candidate will have at least one year of Medical Assistant experience, be comfortable working in an electronic medical record system, and bring a positive, team-oriented attitude to a fast-paced clinical environment. RMA certification is preferred, but experienced Medical Assistants are encouraged to apply.Responsibilities:Room patients and prepare them for examinationObtain and document vital signs, medical histories, height, weight, and blood pressurePrepare, clean, and stock treatment and examination roomsAssist providers with patient care and clinical proceduresSupport patient education and provide clear follow-up instructionsReturn patient telephone callsCall prescriptions into pharmacies as directed by the providerDocument patient information accurately in the electronic medical record systemClean and reset examination rooms between patientsHelp maintain an efficient and organized patient flow throughout the clinicQualifications:High school diploma or GED requiredAt least one year of experience working as a Medical AssistantCurrent Medical Assistant certification preferredExperience documenting patient information in an electronic medical record systemExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced clinicPositive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a teamPreferred Experience:Registered Medical Assistant certificationPrevious experience working in a specialty clinicExperience with prescription requests, patient telephone calls, and clinical documentationCompensation/Benefits:Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.No nightsNo weekends
