YesContract Length: 13 weeksShifts: DaysShift Details: Day 5x8-Hour (08:30 - 17:00)Weekly Schedule: 40 HoursCertifications/Licenses: BLS, CMAMandatory Experience: Infectious Disease Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C)Schedule: 5x8hr, (Monday - Friday // OFF WEEKENDS)Experience: 6 months of experience working as an MA-C in an adult outpatient clinic settingSkills Required: Vital Signs (Height/Weight, Obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG, Obtain Vital Signs, Pulse Oximetry, Vision testing), Prepare for Exam (Positioning/Draping, Record History/Medications/Allergies), Set Up & Assist with Procedures (Dressing Change, Pap Smear, Set up aseptic / sterile procedure trays), Injections (Immunizations, Intradermal, Intramuscular), Specimen Collection (Labeling of specimens, Sputum, Stool, Throat, Urine - UA/Clean Catch, Vaginal, Wound), Laboratory Tests (Strep, Urine Dipstick/Urinalysis), Office Duties (Authorization Forms, Chart Preparation, Insurance Verification, Ordering supplies, Pharmacy calls/patient refill requests, Scheduling appointments, Stocking Supplies, Telephone Triage), Professional Skills & Knowledge (Administering Medication, Administration of TB Test, Aseptic Technique, Follow up phone calls, Review Lab Tests, Rooming, Patients, Suture Removal, Wound care)Certs REQ: BLSLicense REQ: MA-CType of Facility: Infectious Disease ClinicCharting: EPIC (experience REQUIRED)Get in Touch: We want to hear from you!
