Job description
Medical AssistantLocation: West Hollywood, CAJob Type: ContractResponsibilities:Assist physicians and healthcare providers with patient care.Take vital signs and obtain patient history.Prepare patients for examinations and procedures.Perform basic clinical tasks such as injections, specimen collection, and EKGs as required.Schedule appointments and assist with patient check-in/check-out.Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.Follow HIPAA, infection-control, and safety protocols.Communicate professionally with patients and healthcare staff.Requirements:Medical Assistant certification preferred/required based on facility.Previous outpatient/clinic experience preferred.EMR/EHR experience preferred.Strong communication and organizational skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
