Medical Assistant – Full Time

Position Summary VMH has a full-time opening for a Medical Assistant. This position is based primarily at the La Farge, with occasional travel to other Vernon Health clinic locations as needed.
Responsibilities include:
Rooming patients and preparing them for examination
Taking and accurately recording vital signs
Assisting nurses and providers with clinical and clerical duties
Supporting various laboratory procedures as needed
Schedule & Requirements
Four-day workweek with a Saturday morning rotation
Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or LPN Program required
Current CPR certification required
Medical Assistant certification strongly preferred
Compensation & Benefits
Minimum starting wage of $20.53 per hour, with higher rates based on experience
