Medical Assistant OpportunityWe are hiring Medical Assistants for our various regional outpatient locations, including Holland, Grand Haven, Muskegon, Fremont, Big Rapids, Ludington, Greenville, and Hastings, etc.Corewell Health is offering a $3,000 sign-on bonus for this opportunity! Sign-On Bonus for External applicants or current CHW MA Apprentice Students only.Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area.As a Medical Assistant with Corewell Health, you'll be a member of our clinical support team and work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of the best possible care. You'll be a vital part of our team, making a real difference in the lives of our patients.Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent RequiredSuccessful completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program that includes hands-on, in-person clinical skills OR a minimum of one (1) year of experience working specifically in the role of a Medical Assistant, LPN, Paramedic or EMT performing direct patient care and clinical support functions consistent with an MA scope of practice Required1 year of relevant experience in a physician practice or healthcare setting PreferredAHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required within 90 DaysOne of the following Required within 120 Days:AAMA Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)AMT Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)NHA Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA)NCCT Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)NAHP Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA)We are hosting an onsite Medical Assistant event in October and we will continue to virtually hire for these roles.
