Medical Assistant (MA) – Outpatient Clinic | El Monte, CAWe are partnering with a well-established outpatient multispecialty medical clinic in El Monte, California to find a dedicated Medical Assistant (MA) to join their clinical team. This is a part-time opportunity for a certified MA who thrives in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.Position DetailsSetting: Outpatient Multispecialty Medical ClinicSchedule: Weekdays (open to weekends) | Regular and Evening shiftsLocation: El Monte, CAPay: $47000 - $52000/yrStart Date: ASAPKey ResponsibilitiesWork directly with providers to deliver quality patient carePerform diagnostic tests, administer medications, collect/prepare specimens within scope of practice; practice infection control techniquesPrepare patients for exams — escort to exam rooms, measure vital signs, document in EMRAssist providers in exam rooms and instruct patients as directedAnswer telephone inquiries and triage messages from patients to physiciansEnsure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and appropriately set up before each patientPerform opening and closing duties; upkeep compliance logsSchedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments through EMRObtain insurance approvals; prepare and update medical charts and patient recordsVerify patient billing information and maintain recordsAll other duties as assignedRequirementsMinimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience — requiredCMA certification or Medical Assistant diploma — requiredActive CPT1 certification — requiredProfessional, friendly attitude with patients, physicians, and staffAbility to work under pressure and handle stressful situations calmlyMust be able to work in El Monte, CABilingual English/Spanish — highly preferredFamiliarity with EMR/EHR softwareCompensation and BenefitsCompetitive compensation commensurate with experienceDental, vision, and medical insurance401(k) and paid leaveTo apply, please submit your resume through Welltech Partners.
