Job description
Patient Care SpecialistFamily Health Care is seeking a full-time licensed LPN, MA, or EMT to serve as a Patient Care Specialist at our McBain clinic. This position provides direct support and assistance to our patients, working closely with physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners in a primary care clinic setting to ensure the best possible care is provided.Essential Job Functions:Documenting patient informationTaking patient vital signsAdministering immunizationsPrepping patient exam roomsAssist providers with various proceduresQualifications:Must have one of the following licenses: LPN (requires a license to practice in Michigan), Certified Medical Assistant, Emergency Medical TechnicianGraduation from an accredited nursing programCPR certifiedCompletion of a certified medical assistant program and/or registered medical assistant certification is desiredExperience in a primary care clinic is preferredLocation: McBain, MIExempt/Non-Exempt: Non-ExemptBenefits: N/AEmployment Type: On-Call, as needed basis.Family Health Care is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
