Greets & escorts patient to exam room. Obtains & records vital signs into the Electronic Medical Record. Maintains a safe & clean environment for the patient. Maintains equipment & supplies. Maintains effective interpersonal relationships with patients, families & coworkers. Performs additional duties as assigned. Travel between HOCC 100 Grand St, New Britain and 81 Meriden Ave, Southington CT Required.QualificationsEducationDiploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program OR an active CT CNA, EMT, Paramedic or Medic Certification OR relative experience as outlined below.ExperienceIn lieu of education requirement, at least one year of experience in direct patient care (acute or ambulatory space) may be considered.Licensure, Certification, RegistrationCertified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date. All required credentials to be maintained throughout employment.
