Medical Assistant (MA) - PsychiatricAxis Health is seeking a Medical Assistant who will provide clinical and administrative support to medical and/or psychiatric providers and their patients in an outpatient setting. The Medical Assistant (MA) is responsible for preparing for patient visits, performing assigned clinical tasks, rooming patients, obtaining and documenting vital signs, performing point of care testing, assisting in minor procedures, fielding patient phone calls, obtaining prior authorizations and maintaining patient care supplies. Preferred experience: 3 years as a Medical Assistant and CMA (Certified Medical Assistant).
