Medical Assistant PositionWe are looking for a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team in a 38 bed withdrawal management unit. The Medical Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting medical professionals and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to patients undergoing withdrawal. This position will involve both clinical and administrative responsibilities to facilitate efficient operations within the unit.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferredCertification or registration as a Medical Assistant is advantageousPrevious experience as a Medical Assistant in a healthcare setting is preferredKnowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures relevant to withdrawal managementExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environmentResponsibilities:Welcome and prepare patients for their treatment within the withdrawal management unitAssist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures specific to withdrawal managementMonitor and record vital signs accuratelyConduct basic procedures as needed for patients in withdrawalUpdate and maintain patient medical records with attention to detailCoordinate patient appointments and address inquiries efficientlyUphold cleanliness and organization within the unitAdhere to all health and safety regulations applicable to withdrawal management unitsIf you are a compassionate Medical Assistant seeking a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the care of patients in a 38 bed withdrawal management unit, we encourage you to apply for this position.
