Certified Medical Assistant

???? Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
3-Month Contract Opportunity with potential for extension based on business needs. Responsibilities
* Room patients and obtain vital signs.
* Perform patient intake and point-of-care testing.
* Document patient information in the EMR.
* Assist providers during exams and procedures.
* Schedule appointments and support daily clinic operations.
* Collect lab specimens and maintain accurate patient records.
Qualifications
Active Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification
Family Medicine or Primary Care experience preferred
EMR documentation experience
Strong patient care, communication, and organizational skills Preferred
* Athena EMR experience
* Insurance verification experience
* CPR certification
Physical Requirements
* Ability to stand for extended periods
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

This is a Contract position based out of McKinney, TX. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
