The Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting physician with patient care. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, routine clinical and administrative duties as needed to meet the needs of the practice to which it is assigned. The duties of the Medical Assistant vary from office to office based on size and specialty of the practice.Department: Sleep CenterLocation: Englewood, NJStatus: Per DiemShift: VariableDays Hours: VariableJob Essentials:Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)/Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)Minimum of two years (2) of medical assistant experience requiredExperience with medical terminology and practice management systems preferredAbility to work effectively with patients, staff and the publicKnowledge of computer systems and applications for healthcare administrationEducation Requirements: High School Diploma or GED requiredCertification/Registry: Medical Assistant Certification/Registry requiredCPR or BLS Certification preferredEnglewood Health job postings provide a minimum rate to comply with New Jersey Law. The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The minimum rate does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation. In addition to the minimum rate, eligible employees may receive comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other wellness resources. Minimum rate: $17.00/hour
