Job description
Vanderbilt Medical Weight LossSupports the licensed healthcare team in performing office examinations and procedures by organizing and managing clinic patient flow, gathering and documenting patient screening data, assist with patient and family education and communication with patient's health care team.Consideration may be given to candidates that can obtain certification within 120 days, in accordance with state guidelines.Key responsibilities include directing and supporting patient flow as well as unit operations by maintaining supplies, equipment and unit environmental standards, facilitating identification of resources to meet patient healthcare needs, performing/assisting with procedures according to organizational/departmental standards, collecting and documenting patient screening data for the healthcare team, and assisting with patient and family education.Technical capabilities encompass planning & organizing, clinical competencies, environment of care, and clinical patient documentation.Core accountabilities involve organizational impact, problem solving/complexity of work, breadth of knowledge, and team interaction.Core capabilities include supporting colleagues, delivering excellent services, ensuring high quality, and fostering innovation.Position qualifications require relevant work experience of less than 1 year and a graduate of an approved discipline specific program.This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within Vanderbilt Health, supported by a comprehensive benefits package which may include health, disability, retirement and/or wellness offerings to enhance your well-being and professional growth.Vanderbilt Health is committed to fostering an environment where everyone has the chance to thrive and is committed to the principles of equal opportunity.
