MA II PositionThe MA II works under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to perform duties as directed to assist in providing patient care to assigned patients. The MA II performs all aspects of the MA I role and is fully competent in the clinical needs/functions for assigned clinic/location of work. Your voice matters here, because we know that to inspire and retain the best people, we must empower them.Required Qualifications:Coursework/Training: Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants orCoursework/Training: Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program orCoursework/Training: Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces orCoursework/Training: Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant that includes the following clinical skills: obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration orUpon hire: Washington Medical Assistant CertificationWithin 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association6 months Healthcare experience6 months Medical Assistant experiencePreferred Qualifications:Upon hire: National Medical Assistant CertificationWhy Join Providence?
