Medical AssistantMedical Assistant jobs in Norfolk, VA let you work in gastroenterology across two locations, supporting both adult and pediatric patients. You will perform clinical and administrative tasks Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no nights or weekends and minimal travel. The facility offers a collaborative environment focused on quality patient care. You must be a graduate of an approved school for Medical Assistants (MOA, MAA, MA) and provide a record of a completed diploma or academic transcript for complexity testing. One to two years of experience in a related field is preferred, with previous pediatric experience highly valued. Current registration or certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred, or military medical experience with MA certification/registration is required. Current CPR certification is required.
