Medical AssistantA professional multi-skilled person dedicated to assisting in all aspects of medical practice including administrative and clinical procedures under the direct supervision and responsibility of a licensed physician.QualificationsRequirementsHigh School Diploma or GEDMust be graduates of an approved Medical Assistant program.Less than one year or more of Medical Assistant experienceSkillsOB/ GYN experience preferredLab drawing skills preferredAbility to communicate effectively both orally and in writingAbility to prioritize work and manage multiple tasksKnowledge of ambulatory healthcare or related healthcare fieldsSkilled in conflict resolutionAbility to use computersLicensure/CertificationsMust obtain Medical Assistant certification within 6 months of hire or transfer into the position.Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
