Join Our Team as a Medical AssistantBeach Pediatrics is located in Oceanside, New York 11527. We're looking for a Medical Assistant who's ready to bring compassion, organization, and energy to our fast-paced practice. If you thrive in a hands-on role where you can make a real difference for kids and families, this is the place for you!Why You'll Love Working With UsCompetitive Pay: Starting at $23phComprehensive Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with 4% match, PTO, and more!Team-Oriented Culture: A welcoming, supportive, and collaborative work environment.Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, with rotating half-day Saturdays and Sundays.What You'll Do:Greet, escort, and prepare pediatric patients for examinations and treatments.Obtain and accurately document vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, temperature, and pulse oximetry.Perform phlebotomy, capillary blood collection, and specimen collection.Perform point-of-care testing, including rapid strep, influenza, COVID-19, and other approved tests.Assist providers with examinations, clinical procedures, and patient care.Maintain accurate patient records, clinical documentation, and provider communications.Coordinate referrals, diagnostic testing, and patient follow-up.Maintain clean, sanitized, and stocked exam rooms and clinical equipment.Complete required clinical logs, safety checks, and regulatory documentation.Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.What We're Looking ForMinimum 3-5 years of Medical Assistant experience required.Completion of a Medical Assistant program required.High school diploma or equivalent required.Previous pediatric office experience preferred.Experience with electronic medical records required; AthenaOne and/or Phreesia preferred.Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.Professional, dependable, and patient-focused attitude.Compensation Range: $23.00-$26.00 per hourThe compensation range listed represents Allied Physicians Group's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation for this position at the time of posting.
