Medical Assistant Opportunity in Orlando, FLPride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client's healthcare facility in Orlando, FL. This is a 3-month contract assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!Job Details:Job Name: Medical AssistantLocation: Orlando, FL 32819Job Type: Local ContractDuration: 3-month Contract (Possibility of extension or conversion)Schedule: 8am-5pm (Mon - Fri)Pay rate: $20 - $23/hr. On W2. Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.Responsibilities:Room and triage patients; obtain vital signs and medical histories.Assist providers during examinations and minor procedures.Perform phlebotomy, specimen collection, EKGs, and injections.Document patient information in EMR/EHR systems.Schedule appointments, verify insurance, and obtain prior authorizations.Educate patients and maintain HIPAA, OSHA, and infection control compliance.Qualifications:High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.Graduated from Medical Assistant program, Certification (CMA, CCMA, RMA) (certification is required).Current, BLS Certification.Pride-Health offers eligible employee's comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance and hospital indemnity), 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, auto, home insurance, pet insurance and employee discounts with preferred vendors.
