Medical AssistantResponsibilities:Perform office procedures including billing, bookkeeping and typing/correspondenceAbility to take vital signs, ECG and perform other clinical assistance tasksInteracts with patients and families in a professional mannerMaintains professionalism while interacting with payors, vendors, insurance, etc.Qualifications:Requires completion of a Medical Assistant training program or a certification in Medical AssistingOne year related experience preferredInterpersonal skills necessary to communicate with patients and families and collaborate with health team membersCPR certificationThe above statements are intended to describe the functions and related requirements of persons assigned to this job.
