We are currently hiring for a full-time Medical Assistant to work at our Paoli, PA office.Please note this role is entitled to a $500 sign-on bonus.ResponsibilitiesWork with an assigned physician dailyEscort patients to the exam roomRecord medical information, review medications, and obtain vital signsPerform stress testing and EKGsFollow up on lab resultsAnswer phones and assist with check-in/out procedures if necessaryAssist with appointment scheduling.Review and prepare the next day's assignmentsOther duties as assignedRequirementsMust be a certified or registered Medical AssistantBLS preferred through the American Heart Association (AHA)Must have at least 2-3 years of experience as a Medical AssistantFamiliarity with various cardiology-related procedures such as stress tests, managing Coumadin therapy, and Holter monitors are a plusMust have the ability to multitaskComputer knowledge is a mustExperience with an EMR system is a plusMust be well-spoken, friendly, and outgoingCardiology Consultants of Philadelphia provides medical, vision, dental, 401k, profit sharing, LTD, generous PTO, and paid holiday time.*If you are hired, and assuming your employment is in good standing, you will receive the sign-on bonus. The bonus will be paid to you no later than 30 days following your start date. In the event that you voluntarily terminate your employment or the Company terminates your employment for cause within 6 months of your date of hire, you will be required to repay the full amount of your sign-on bonus.
