Medical Assistant - Part Time - Pediatrics After Hours - Rancho BernardoThis is a part-time, benefitted position (40 hours per pay period) located at Scripps Clinic in Rancho Bernardo. The schedule generally includes Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., along with every other Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Why join Scripps Health? Patients ranging from infants to 21 years old Weekends required on a rotating basis Seeking dependable, self-motivated team players What you'll do: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment Perform patient care services that support the providers and clinic Front Office responsibilities such as registration, scheduling, patient check-ins, collecting co-pays and check-outs Clinical support by checking patient vitals, rooming patients, stocking exam rooms, point of care duties, immunizations, covid swabbing, and providing patient education Wide variety of acute care patientsRequired Qualifications: Completion of a formal Medical Assistant Program OR hold a Medical Assistant Certification OR have a minimum of two years of experience as a military corpsman BLS certification for the Healthcare Provider by the American Heart Association (AHA) Preferred Qualifications: One year MA experience in an outpatient setting Pediatric experience Experience with injections and vaccines Experience with PPD (tuberculin) placementPrimary Location: Central San Diego County-SAN DIEGO-SCRIPPS CLINIC - RANCHO BERNARDO Work Locations: SCRIPPS CLINIC - RANCHO BERNARDO 15004 INNOVATION DR SAN DIEGO 92128 Organization: Scripps Clinic Job Posting: Sep 18, 2026, 9:19:50 PM Benefit Status : PT - PART-TIME WITH BENEFITS Minimum Rate (USD): 25.95 - Maximum Rate (USD): 32.56 In compliance with the California Pay Transparency Act, Scripps Health posts the pay range for all jobs.
