Patient Services Representative/Medical AssistantWe are seeking a dependable and flexible individual to fill a dual position as both a Patient Services Representative (PSR) and Medical Assistant (MA) in our Roseville/Fair Oaks offices. This full-time position requires working as a PSR on designated days and as a Medical Assistant on others, providing comprehensive support to both our patients and clinical team.Patient Services Representative Duties:Greet patientsCheck in patients and assist with individual concerns, as they ariseCollect appropriate information including insurance overview, co-pay and deductible assignment and open balancesPerforms administrative tasks and must be cross trained on medical assistant responsibilities to provide support as neededOther tasks, as assignedMedical Assistant Duties:Interview patients to gather medical history and update medical recordsGather basic vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, height, weight and pulsePrepare treatment rooms and patients for examSterilize necessary instrumentsManage medical supplies and materials and work with Area Supervisor to order necessary inventoryTake appropriate x-raysRequirementsMinimum of 2 years in a healthcare position preferredHigh school diploma or GED requiredExcellent communication and organizational skills.Ability to multitask and adapt to changing daily responsibilities.Strong attention to detail and patient-centered approach.Proficiency with EMR systemsCapability to adapt quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environmentBenefits:Medical, Dental, and Vision PlansHSA with Employer ContributionFSAGenerous PTO Program401k with a 3% MatchEmployee Assistance ProgramLife and AD&D InsuranceShort-Term and Long-Term DisabilityPhysical Demands/Environmental Factors:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand or sit; use hands; and talk or hearSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and depth perceptionMust be able to lift/carry up to 25lbsAmerican With Disabilities Act (ADA) Specifications:Qualified individuals with disabilities may make a request for reasonable accommodation to the Director of Human Resources.
