Job description
Medical Assistant - Podiatry (AHRO)Assists in planning, providing, and evaluating nursing care for patients and in coordinating nursing care activities with other health care disciplines under the guidance of a registered nurse (RN) or licensed vocational nurse (LVN). Works as a team with other staff members to achieve patient care objectives. Identifies and seeks solutions for any clinical problems and reports them to the affected department.Requirement:Auto Offer EPIC backfill, Day Shift, 40hours, 8 hr shift, Must have EPIC experience. This is a position for an EPIC conversion. Candidates must have recent EPIC and Cerner experience. No RTO. Start date is firm.Education and Work Experience:High School Education/GED or equivalent: RequiredBachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: PreferredLicenses/Certifications:Medical Assistant (CMA) certification: PreferredBasic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) Health Care Provider certification from approved vendor per AH policy: RequiredSuccessful completion of audiometry and vision training or have a certificate from CHDP within six months of hire.
