We're going beyond basic care to health programs integrated across the entire continuum of care.Position Details:Primary Location: 5 Neponset St. WorcesterSecondary Location: 64 Boyden Rd, Holden- as needed for coverageDepartment: Podiatry- Rheumatology/ DermatologySchedule: Full time, 38.75 hours/weekly, Monday through Friday, scheduling between 7:30AM - 5:00PMPosition Highlights & Primary Responsibilities:Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical equipment & instrumentsRoom patients, obtain health history and check vital signsDocument patient care using electronic medical record softwareAdminister medications and perform injections/immunizationsAssist providers with minor, in-office procedures and perform point-of-care testingYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:High School Diploma or Equivalent1+ years of experience performing the critical skills of a medical assistant after on-the-job trainingPreferred Qualifications:Medical Assistant Certification (CMA or RMA) or you must be willing to attain that certification within 180 days of start dateProven organizational, communication and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated knowledge of office and laboratory proceduresDemonstrated knowledge of a variety of software applications such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, etc.Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $16 to $32 per hour based on full-time employment.
