Medical Assistant PositionPride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant position to support our clients in the medical facility. This is a temporary assignment opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!Location: Ruther Ford, NJ Schedule: Monday – Friday Rotating shifts between 7:00 AM – 8:00 PMShifts: 7–3, 8–4, 9–5, 10–6, 11–7, 12–8 Number of hours- 40 Hours/ weekWeekend Requirement: Two weekends per monthPay - $20/Hr on W2 to $23/hr on W2Key ResponsibilitiesRoom patients and obtain vital signs, medication reconciliation, and patient historyManage provider in-baskets/messages and assist with patient communicationAdminister vaccines and support clinical procedures as neededProcess prior authorizations and maintain accurate patient documentationMaintain patient confidentiality and follow infection control protocolsSupport providers and clinical staff in daily operationsRequirementsCertified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification requiredCurrent BLS certification requiredPrior experience in Internal Medicine preferredStrong communication, multitasking, and organizational skillsPride-Health offers eligible employee's comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance and hospital indemnity), 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, auto, home insurance, pet insurance and employee discounts with preferred vendors.
