Medical Assistant - Primary CareLocation: Annadale, NY (Onsite)Employment Type: Contract - Mon-Fri 40 hours/weekCompensation: Pay Range: $17.64 - $25.20 Per HRJob Summary:Seeking a Medical Assistant with a focus in Primary Care for a contract position in Annadale, NY. The role requires working onsite in a family medicine setting, providing support in specimen collection and quality assurance. The schedule is Monday through Friday, totaling 40 hours per week. Candidates should have relevant experience and certifications.Requirements:High School Diploma or GED Minimum of 1 year of Medical Assistant experience Certification as a Medical Assistant Familiarity with specimen collection and laboratory procedures Experience with venipuncture techniques Experience working with adults and geriatrics preferredQualifications:Certified Medical Assistant with at least 1 year of experience Knowledge of laboratory equipment and procedures Ability to maintain patient confidentiality Experience in Pediatrics, Infusion, Chemo, or Oncology is a plus
