We hope you will consider joining our team of healers!Job SummaryScreens patient and obtains pertinent information.Assists physician or advanced practitioner during patient visit in accordance with age specific needs.Assists the physician or advanced practitioner in all aspects of patient care and communication as instructed.Maintains the exam rooms and work environment.Provides support to the clinic as needed.QualificationsEducationHigh school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited program in Medical Assistant Training or equivalent experience required.ExperiencePrefer at least one year experience in a clinical or physician-office setting, emergency room and/or a hospital setting that provides patient care.Prefer medical office, insurance, referral and prior authorization, hospital or computer experience.Experience in office clerical activities desirable.(Above requirements can be met by equivalent combination of education and experience)Licensure/CertificationBasic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care.Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained for duration of employment.CMA or RMA preferred.Compensation/Benefits$15.46-$25.24/hr depending on previous work experience.Benefits include medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, long-term disability, life insurance, paid time off (PTO), paid holidays, tuition reimbursement, scholarship opportunities, retirement plans, free parking, and opportunities for advancement.Work ShiftDayPosition TypeRegular Full Time
